Penny Steele – Managing Director
Penny started her market research career in 1985 as a graduate trainee with Research and Auditing Services Limited. She moved to DRSM in 1987 as a research manager and became director with FML when it was launched in 1990, rising to managing director in 1993. In 2011 Penny set up Steele Fieldworks to provide a professional yet personal service based on her many years of experience in the industry.
She takes a very active role in the industry and has had articles published in Research Magazine and has run training courses for AQR. Penny has served as the field representative on the AQR Committee and is currently Chairman of the IQCS Council, with particular responsibility for minimum fieldwork standards. Penny is also the IQCS representative on the MRQSAB Board (Market Research Quality Standards Advisory Board).This is a working group of the Market Research Society which in April 2012 replaced the work of MRQSA (Market Research Quality Standards Association).
Sophie Le Maire – Field Director
Has over 20 years experience. Sophie has managed the full range of quantitative projects from standard consumer fieldwork through to complex financial studies. Her specific responsibilities are general project management, client maintenance and ensuring the smooth day to day running of all fieldwork and liaison with our national team. She regularly uses her extensive experience to advise clients on methodology and logisitics.
